Sian Ka’an is home to thousands of species of flora and fauna, which is why the region became a designated Biosphere Reserve in 1986. A year later, Sian Ka’an was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO and it remains the largest protected area in the Mexican Caribbean. In the Sian Kaan Dolphin Tour, you will experience Dolphins in their natural habitat.

DEPARTURE TIME Between 6:30AM- 7:30 AM for a prompt departure.
RETURN TIME Approximately 4:30 – 5:30 PM. (playa del carmen and riviera maya)
WEAR Comfortable light clothing, sandals or flipflops, hat, and sunscreen (biodegradable). Bring a swimsuit

We recommend that you bring light comfortable clothes and shoes (sandals or flipflops ok), bathing suit, sun glasses, towel, camera, binoculars, sun protection ( biodegradable, or clothes to aid with sun protection), some cash. Please note that there are no ATM machines in the area, nor do any of the vendors accept credit cards. The guides, drivers and waitress appreciate tips for their excellent service. Its also thanks to them that you will leave with many great memories!


9.00 AM – 9.30 AM: Transportation to first location

Talk about Biodiversity, Ecology, Sustainability
Talk about Maya Postclassic Period, Navigation .


10.30 AM – 12.30 PM:Boat ride

Visit to the mangrove island of San Juan to see  at different native  species of Birds and native flora: Mangroves,  Search for the Dolphins, Manatees.

12.30 AM – 1.15 PM: Snorkeling

Enjoy a snorkeling at the mesoamerican coral reef  among colorful fish and corals

1:30 PM – 2.00 PM: Lunch

We relax at the natural swimming pool a shallow area of white sands and crystalline waters

2:00 PM – 3.30 PM: Lunch.

Enjoy a buffet style meal of: local fresh fish , chicken fajitas,  mashed potatoes,  steamed vegetables, rice, pasta, salad, tortillas and beverages water or hibiscus (seasonal lobster available upon request at extra charge)  

3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Boat back to van
