Day 1: Ek Balam - Chichen Itza -Merida
In the morning at the scheduled time (08:00 am) pick up at your hotel to enjoy a full day tour through the most important archaeological sites of the peninsula. The first stop will be in the archaeological zone of Ek Balam (“Star Jaguar or Dark Jaguar” in Maya), with wonderful architecture including “The Acropolis”, which contains the tomb of the ruler Ukit Kan Le’k Tok ‘. Continuing with the visit to one of the 7 wonders of the modern world, Chichén Itzá (“Boca del Pozo de los sorjos del agua” in Mayan) admiring, among other buildings, the Pyramid of Kukulcan and the sacred cenote, used by the Mayans to make offerings and sacrifices to their gods. Day 2: Yaxcopoil Hacienda - Uxmal - Merida City Tour
We leave early to visit the most important archaeological site of the Pooc Route, Uxmal (“Three times built” in Maya) special for having the “Adivino” pyramid, the only known temple with an oval plant in the Mayan Culture.
In the afternoon you will enjoy a guided tour of the city, where you will visit the historic center, the main square and the paseo montejo. Lodging in hotel of Merida. Alternately you can do Chocolate Museum and Uxmal Light Show instead of city tour.
Day 3: Tulum & Coba
Meeting with our guide to go to Coba (“Water with moss or chopped water” in Maya), located next to four natural lakes, highlights a pyramid known as “The Church” of almost 25 meters high, same that is enabled to climb to the top.
Then we will move to Tulum (“Walled City” in Maya) declared a World Heritage Site, located on a cliff facing the Caribbean Sea.
