Punta Laguna is a small village and community where live today 120 individuals, composing 30 families. This place is a great example of how a community can be dedicated to a sustainable way of life with complete respect of the environment and the will to protect their natural and cultural heritage.

We booked our tour with Sal for a day trip to the Coba Mayan Ruins. We were picked up at our scheduled time. Nothing but praise for our private tour. The information that was provided was spot on and there were no tours guides that we could see explaining the fauna and smaller sites to their tourists. The lunch was buffet style, which we enjoyed. The tour went further than the ruins, visiting the local area with stops at a typical Mayan home today.
