Tour Reviews
Salvadore was an excellent guide for our three day adventure! His suggestions helped us see exactly what we wanted, and in only three days we visited Chichen Itza, Tulum, Coba, Ek Belem (my favorite!), Uxmal and Kabah. We also swam in a stunning cenote—a magical experience. Best Maya Tours is professional, well organized and well informed. We loved our adventure and could not have done it without their cheerful and reliable help.
We just did a private tour to Chichén Itzá and Valladolid with Salvador. I highly recommend it. Salvador is very respectful and knowledgeable. He picked us up right on time. He was mindful of playing music we liked and provided us with cold water and umbrellas. It was definitely everything we needed to have a great time. I would definitely recommend Best Maya Tours to my friends and family. Thank you Salvador!
We originally booked the tour to Chichen Itza, Valladolid and a cenote with Salvador after reading the reviews. They did the tour and him justice. He was a great guide, we beat the tour groups, had an amazing experience at all three places. We had such a good time we asked him what we should do the next day in our short trip to Mexico and we booked a tour with his brother Capt. Snake. We went to Tulum to snorkel and see the ruins. Had a great time with him and got to see turtles and sting rays. Highly recommend booking either tour. They were both so nice and knowledgeable on the areas and history. Made our trip memorable.
I wouldn’t hesitate to highly endorse Salvador – we will definitely tour with him again, he was awesome. And, we’re hard graders! His English is terrific and in depth knowledge is impressive. We are very grateful for the terrific experience we had.
Thank you Lisa and Sarah!
My mom and I had an awesome time with Salvador! It was a fun and laid back day, a private tour is definitely worth it as you can do things at your own pace, choose what you want to do and for how long. We learned so much about the history of Chichen Itza and the Mayans from Salvador, had a great lunch at the cenote, took pictures but chose not to swim, then strolled around the beautiful town of Valladolid. Definitely a great day and would love to do a tour with him again in the future!
We really enjoyed our tour of Chichen-Itza with Salvador. If you are ever in the Tulum area, highly recommended.
