On the inaugural day, your guide will escort you to the Rio Lagartos Biosphere, where you’ll embark on a boat tour to observe a variety of bird species, including herons, fishing eagles, pelicans, and flamingos, as well as other mangrove dwellers such as crocodiles and raccoons. Day 2: Chichen Itza and Cenote

Your guide will collect you at 8:00 am for a day of exploration through prominent archaeological sites on the peninsula. Begin at Ek Balam (“Star Jaguar” or “Dark Jaguar” in Maya), admiring its remarkable architecture and history. Continue to Chichen Itza, one of the Seven Wonders of the modern world, to marvel at the Pyramid of Kukulcan, the Sacred Cenote, and other structures. Afterward, retire for the night in Mérida.
