Day 1: Ek Balam - Chichen Itza -Merida
On the first day, our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel around 8.00 AM to enjoy a full day tour through the most important archaeological sites of the peninsula. The first stop will be in the archaeological zone of Ek Balam (“Star Jaguar or Dark Jaguar” in Maya), where you will discover amazing Mayan styles of architecture. You will continue with the visit of one of the Seven New Wonders of the World, Chichén Itzá to admire, among other buildings, the Pyramid of Kukulkan and the Sacred Cenote, used by the Mayans to make offerings and sacrifices to their gods. At the end of the day you will rest in a hotel in the charming city of Mérida.
Day 2: Yaxcopoil Hacienda - Uxmal - Merida City Tour
The second day will start with the visit of one of the most important archaeological site of the Pooc Route, Uxmal (“Three times built” in Maya) special for having the “Adivino” pyramid, the only known temple with an oval plant in the Mayan Culture.
In the afternoon you will enjoy a private guided tour of the city, where you will visit the historic center of Mérida, the main square and the Paseo Montejo. Depending on your preferences, you may alternately discover the Chocolate Museum and the Uxmal Light Show instead of a city tour. Lodging in a hotel of Merida for the night.
Day 3: Tulum & Coba
On this third and last day, our guide will take you to Coba, or City of “Turbulent Water”, located next to four natural lakes, where you will wander among the beautiful site and see the impressive “Church”, the 25 meters high pyramid.
You will finish the tour by heading to the archeological site of Tulum, declared a World Heritage Site, located on a cliff facing the Caribbean Sea. Your guide will then drive you back to your selected hotel and leave you with great and unforgettable memories.
